Return to Your Practice. Return to Yourself.

Sadhana is the Sanskrit word for a devoted spiritual practice—a practice that brings us closer to our truest selves.

Sadhana by the Sea is an invitation to step away from your daily routines and reconnect with what matters most. Through movement, breath, meditation, nourishment, nature, and community, we’ll explore yoga as more than a physical practice.

Unlike retreats centered around packed itineraries and constant activity, this experience has been thoughtfully designed with spaciousness in mind. There will be time to practice, rest, explore, connect, surf, and simply be.

This is not about escaping your life. It is about returning to it feeling more grounded, present, and connected to yourself.

The Experience

During our five days together, you can expect:

  • Daily traditional yoga practices

  • Ashtanga, Hatha, Yin, and restorative yoga

  • Meditation and breathwork

  • Optional surf lessons / ocean and beach activities

  • Spacious time for rest and reflection

  • Nourishing meals prepared by our private chef

  • Time to explore the surrounding area

  • Meaningful connection with an intimate community

  • A beautiful boutique setting surrounded by nature

Every offering is an invitation. You are encouraged to listen to your body and participate in a way that supports you.

Yoga Beyond the Postures

At the heart of this retreat is an authentic and traditional approach to yoga.

Our practices will include a thoughtful balance of strength and softness—from the discipline and focus of Ashtanga and Hatha to the stillness of Yin, breathwork, and meditation.

Together, we will explore yoga as a complete practice that reaches beyond the physical postures and into the way we breathe, live, relate, and connect.

All practices will be guided with care, making the retreat welcoming for those newer to yoga while still offering depth for experienced practitioners and teachers.

You do not need to be flexible, advanced, or able to do every pose. You only need a willingness to arrive as you are.

Your Home in Mexico

Our retreat will be held at Alma Vida, a private boutique venue along the beautiful coast of Nayarit, near Sayulita & San Pancho

Surrounded by tropical nature, Alma Vida offers the perfect balance of comfort, beauty, intimacy, and tranquility. With space to gather and room to retreat inward, it allows us to experience Mexico at a slower and more intentional pace.

Optional Surf Experience

Surfing is an optional part of this retreat—not the center of it.

Whether you are completely new to surfing or already feel at home in the ocean, you will have the opportunity to experience the waves with local guidance.

You are also completely welcome to skip surfing and use that time to rest, explore, enjoy the beach, or simply slow down.

Your Retreat Hosts

Manisha Kaur

Manisha is the founder of Inner Kaur Yoga, an experienced yoga teacher, holistic health coach, and international retreat leader.

Her teaching is rooted in the traditional foundations of yoga and shaped by years of practice and continued study. She teaches Ashtanga, Hatha, Yin, meditation, breathwork, mobility, and yoga philosophy. Manisha’s intention is to create spaces that feel genuine, welcoming, and deeply connected—where yoga can be experienced not simply as movement, but as a way of returning home to yourself.

Yaniv Adda

Yaniv will support Manisha and the retreat experience throughout the week. With his love of surfing, nature, travel, and community, he will help create a relaxed and welcoming environment for everyone attending.

Together, Manisha and Yaniv will hold a retreat that balances thoughtful structure with freedom, depth with joy, and individual practice with genuine community.
